Obedience, Silence and Humility:
Key Elements to the Journey to Holiness
By baptism all Christians are called to holiness, which is simply the fullness of line in Christ. In our very secularistic world this call is easily forgotten amid over-activity and materialistic desires. Only by firm adherence to a well-tried spiritual path can a soul make steady progress on the journey to holiness. This retreat will explore three key elements of the path to holiness with the help of St. Benedict, St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross. Reference will be made to the Rule of St. Benedict and the book, Fire Within by Rev. Thomas Dubay, SM.
The retreat will include daily Eucharist, conferences, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and time on your own for personal prayer and reflection all in a silent atmosphere.
