2013 Augue 30 - Silent Surrender to God

The most difficult dimension of the self to bring to silence is the spirit – the part of me that believes, hopes, and loves, that rejoices in beauty and appreciates freedom, that opens out to the totality of all that is, that understands, intuits, loves. My spirit of pride and ambition has to surrender silently to God and begin listening to the mystery of his living silence. (page 100)
